Relax on the wicker-filled porch, cozy library, or find a private spot in our lovely boxwood gardens that were featured in the 1996 Virginia House and Garden Tour.

Montrose House features three large and beautifully appointed guest rooms each unique enough to suit your needs. Our signature Red Room is handicap accessible on the first floor off the grand foyer. It features a queen, Stickley pencil post cherry bed, cherry Stickley furniture of the period, a sitting area in front of the fireplace and a bright and cheery private bath. It is located next to the large screened-in porch where you can relax comfortably or enjoy a stroll through the gardens.

The Green Room located on the second floor has views of the garden and features a double sleigh bed, sitting area, and a fireplace. The Yellow Room is a dormer bedroom beautifully appointed with two twin beds and a sitting area.

All bedrooms feature quality pillowsoft bedding, terry cloth robes, small refrigeration units stocked with complementary water and soda, and nightly turn down service sweetened with Eastern Shore chocolate delights. Each spacious bath is new and private or semi-private depending on occupancy. All feature a hairdryer and hospitality amenities.

A full breakfast is served to order and you may choose a time to dine that suits your needs. Please let us know of any special dietary needs you may have and you may also wish to inform us of your breakfast menu prior to your arrival by emailing us at info@montrosehousebnb.com
